Im completely in love with Andy Moors bootleg of Vangelis - Rachels Song, a stunning piece of music lifted from Blade Runner. Really in to Third Degree's - Battery Acid, wicked tune was very pleased to recieve that one! To celebrate the 50th episode of my podcast I have a very special guest for you.... Local Southwest hero Tommie Quick! A wicked mix of Tough House, Electro and Trance ending up on a rather tasty Tech Dance note for you! Tommie has been DJing since he was 11, 19 years in total. He started off doing partys as a mobile DJ then played his first club set when he was 15. Resident at the famous Dance Academy and various other nights accross Plymouth and the whole UK.... Honestly one of my favourite local DJ's. Me and my friends have always made an effort to see him play when he's on line up, very talented guy! Loving 'The hardest thing' By Filo and Peri, 'Ultra' by Chris Schweizer and Jorn Van Deyhovens take on 'The real you' Cant just pick out those 3, every track is PHAT! 2 former Hard House legends shining through this week with their tracks, Lisa Lashes and Nick Sentience are on top form! Aaron Cook - February Guest Mix - Episode 47 ( House | Electro )

February's guest mix, this month local legend Aaron Cook takes to the decks for us, with a Touch Prog & Electro House mix.
In his short but sharp rise in his Djing career Aaron is going from strength to strength! Building a good reputation for his tight flawless mixing and excellent knowlege and selection of tunes, he definately knows how to read what the crowd wants.
After winning the Crash Manor Dj Competition in February last year year he then went on to become a weekly resident there playing progressive and tech trance for the night Crash @ Crash Manor which hosted many big name DJs including Guiseppe Ottaviani, Simon Patterson, Sean Tyas, Richard Durand and many more!.
Unfortunately the night shut down due to change in music policy but since then he has begun to play regular all over the south west. Aaron has also had recent regular gigs playing in the 103 bar and the Baby Box rooms of the world famous Ministry of Sound and two recent gigs at the 02 Academy Brixton, both based in London While playing there he has played on the same lineups as big names like Worlds Number 1 Armin Van Buuren, Eddie Halliwell, Jochen Miller, Seb Fontaine, Fabio, Jordan Suckley. Markus Schulz, Andy Moor, Above and Beyond, Mauro Picotto, Mat Zo, Daniel Portman, Jaytech, Stefano Noferini and many more!
2011 has been a great year so far, wilth Aaron playing again at Ministry of Sound and the 02 Academy Brixton for Armin Van Buurens tour, he also has played twice in Ibiza this year, playing for popular scottish brand Rectify and also Vicky Devines night Ultraviolet.

I really didn't expect to have an episode ready for this week due to the massive amount of uni work I have on. But I thought what better escape from essays then to record a mix! A journey from House to Trance, ending up with some of the driving uplifting stuff at the end ;) Some utterly gorgeous tunes on this weeks episode, including an exclusive bootleg remix by Lisaya of Lana Del Rey - Video Games, big thank you to him for letting me share such a stunning track!
